NV Heidsieck Monopole Rose $59.95 #76125

Perfect for that pre-meal aperitif. (See tasting notes above.)
NV Deutz Brut Magnum 77.00 #76411
In magnums, what a festive bubbly for a party. Why does
Champagne always seem more celebratory from large bottles?
1999 Dom Perignon $149.99 #71401
NV Louis Roederer Brut $39.95 #76405
A crisp and appetizing Champagne, emphasizing lemon and
apple flavors with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Elegant and smooth.
1999 Roederer Cristal $249.00 #76404
Intriguing and complex, richly wound with a mouthfilling
mousse and a long, lingering finish. Delicious now, but will age for many
years to come.
1999 Roederer Cristal Rose
$625.00 #76407- In the humble opinion of this owner of this web site, this is
the finest bottle of Champagne that he has had since his visit to Moet in 1976
when he was presented the 1952 Dom Perignon from their cellar. This is everything
about Champagne- thick body of unctious pears and peaches, just enough of a persimmon
hint from the Pinot Noir that was separtely fermented, HUGE bouquet of fresh bread
just out of the oven, lingering Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietal hints at the
finish. Score 19.5 (98 for you WS folks) Intriguing and complex, richly wound with a mouthfilling
mousse and a long, lingering finish. Delicious now, but will age for many
years to come.
NV Veuve Clicquot Brut $44.50 # 73410 Once again, Hennessy's has the party size available for
that extra festive touch.
1998 Veuve Grand Dame $149.00 # 71402 Once again, Hennessy's has the party size available for
that extra festive touch.
SPARKLING NV
Varichon & Clerc Blanc de Blanc $13.99 #76101 Probably the best value French sparkler available. Perfect
for holiday brunches with mimosas and kir royales.
2004 Bailly Rose Cremant $17.99 # 76102 -
straight from Burgundy region of France, this Pinot Noir sparkler is as good as
any French Champagne counterpart !
CALIFORNIA SPARKLERS
NV Iron Horse Brut $42.00 #69000- Made in a classic
and vintage style in Sonoma County. 60% Pinot Noir 40% Chardonnay. From the beautiful rolling vineyards of the Carneros, this
Taittinger-run house continues to turn out one of California's most Champagne-like
bubblies. Delish!
NV Scharfenberger $14.99 #76005 as good as Piper Sonoma
or Domaine Chandon The drier, Chardonnay-based version of Piper shows off the
earthy, toasty vanillin notes and will tickle your fancy as well as your
taste buds.
NV Roederer Estate Brut $19.99 #76000
Best sparkler in California with that toasty middle.
There are many California sparkling wine drinkers who consider
this French collaboration the best bubbly in its price range, and we concur.
1997 Schramsberg Blanc de Noir $27.99 #76001
A hint of pink, and a lot of pretty, and it works well with
food too.
ITALY
NV Riva Marietta Prosecco Organic$ !8.88 # 76414- Moscato
from Italy with half the spritz. Very light and delicate. This is waht we have
tried to copy for years in California ( See Noceto)
