2009 Leslie Hennessy Pinot Noir
This is the first Pinot Noir release of wine veteran and author Leslie Hennessy. "I had been plodding through Northern California wine country for months looking for my style of Pinot Noir when I ran across these two remarkable vineyards. The first vineyard was too tannic but had a great banana, blackberry, bing cherry bouquet with a graham cracker finish. The second vineyard had just the perfect 'persistence' that when these two are blended together it gives this wine a great rich middle with the fruit combination." Many thanks go out to our two partners Dave Festa and Mr. Dave, the Two Dave Cuvee.
