Beaulieu Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
The company was founded in 1900 by Georges de Latour. His background was not in winemaking or vineyard management, so he hired famed enologist André Tchelistcheff to come to Rutherford to establish the estate. Tchelistcheff went on to create the prestige cuvée Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and mentored many of the next generation of Napa winemakers, including Robert Mondavi, Mike Grgich and Joe Heitz. The aggregated Critics Score is 91/100. The wine is in it’s original gift box. The cork is excellent and the fill is perfect.
