Falstaff Magazine 1985 Vintage Tasted: Jan 2010 Strong carmine garnet, and orange reflexes. In the nose fine redberry confit, but also blackberries and licorice, herbal spice, orange peel, and tobacco nuances. On the palate elegant and round, fine chocolatey sweetness, present tannins, harmonious, has a good length, tends to be a little dry in the reverberation, fine gingerbread spice in the back taste, a very multifaceted wine. Drinking/storage +15..At 34 hectares the annual production is 14,000 cases. The most famous vintage is 1921. It was only equaled by the 1947 vintage.
