Ferrari Carano 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon

Don Carano and his family started this Ferrari Carano winery originally to get away from their fast passed Eldorado casino business in Reno, Nevada.  However, as the wine bug kicked in, they decided to sell their wines beyond the casino.   With his children running the casino Don and his wife Rhonda created an empire at their winery.  This author tasted this 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon upon release in May of 1998.  With a score of 16/20 this bottle is in excellent shape.  The air space is perfect, as the cork is very tight.  Leslie Hennessy.
