This is our third Sauvignon Blanc since we started our custom crush project. This wine is made from 64 % Sauvignon Blanc clones 1 and 6 from Napa County. We also blended in 36% from Sonoma County, consisting of the Sauvignon Musque clone and Sauvignon Blanc clone ms1 from the Fallenleaf vineyard. It was fermented in stainless steel and French oak barrels. The citrus notes of lime, lemon, grapefruit, and a hint of mandarin fold nicely with hints of white peach, pear, and green apple.—Leslie Hennessy, winemaker. $16.99 per bottle.
